Three months ago I decided to download Droptop Four, and of course also Rainmeter. I even downloaded another app to make my desktop more customizable which is called Jaxcore. And with these apps my computer didn't have problems until yesterday, when the application started to stutter. Yesterday I turned on my pc and all that I could see was this (photo 1).So nothing is working. In a sudden moment, I see a few windows in the Droptop Four (photo 2) and then this (photo 3). In this instance, I can see the top corner of DropTop Four and one of the widgets I added using JaxCore. And then a loop of these three screens starts. I had the intention of recording that, but my computer is hindering my efforts.
The lag can cause my actions to be repeated at times. For instance, opening a window in an app causes it to close by itself after a second and then open again.
In these days, just to avoid seeing this I closed Rainmeter and Droptop four.
My initial impression was that Rainmeter was the issue, particularly since Windows Defender identified it as a Trojan yesterday. (Photo 4)And just yesterday, Rainmeter released the latest version of the software. My belief was that the problem was a result of not having that version. But even after I installed it, nothing changed.
The problem is unclear to me now.
What am I supposed to do?
